Moose in our yard:

We get moose in our front yard every winter eating branches off our trees.  As the snow gets deeper, the city areas provide easier access to food.  But  it's not as usual to see them in the spring or summer.  This one is right across the street.   Moose are unpredictable - and mother's are very defensive of their young.  There have been a few moose stomping episodes during our 10 years here in Anchorage.
